I stayed for 1 night as a solo traveler. The room was small but cozy, with a comfortable bed. It was a 10-minute walk to town, super convenient. The breakfast had a nice celiac area, and the staff was really helpful.

Hotel Zeus featured a charming Greek-themed lobby and offered free parking. The noisy traffic made it hard to sleep.

Near to the sights of Merida, you can walk, the price is low
unfriendly staff, tiny rooms, no breakfast (I call THAT not a breakfast!)

It is ideally located for seeing the city and all of the recommended sites, without using public transport if you can walk for a mile or two
It was very hot and the air conditioning was not working making sleep imposible

The Twin Room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable enough for two nights, but I did wish for some tea and coffee facilities. There were times I heard sounds from the neighbors, probably due to thin walls. It served its purpose well for visiting Merida without any major issues.

Local convenience
The room was too small, uncomfortable and noisy.

The room was modern and functional, it had a hairdryer, a bidet and bath sheets. The pleasant staff members provided a few recommendations. Location: the hotel was really close to bars and restaurants, the Roman sites in Merida and the plaza de toros. Merida Old Town district was worth exploring.

The hotel has free parking right off the main highway, and it's conveniently located within a 15-minute walk of the old town and main attractions. I found the Greek-themed lobby quite unique.
Noise levels were a real issue, with reports of outside traffic and sounds from adjoining rooms making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Room sizes felt cramped, especially for multiple occupants, and the lack of on-site dining options was frustrating when I had to seek meals elsewhere. The hotel shows signs of aging, which detracts from overall quality.

I appreciated the room, it was good sized and came with central heating, multi-channel television and a study table.

excelent location to visit all the Roman remains and easy to find and park, however the location of the hotel shown on Booked.net is wrong. The hotel is just on the right as you cross the bridge into Merida take the first slip road up to the roundabout go straight across and the hotel entrance is on the right next door to the garage.
The restaurant did not open until 2100 hrs which was inconvenient for anyone who had driven a long way and wanted an early night, however ther food in the bar was the same as the food in the restaurant and a lot cheaper. There was only one channel on the television and that was sport and one of the single beds had obvously been used a lot as somewhere to sit and one side was rather soft

We we travelling from Portugal to Southern Spain and were therefore looking for an overnight stay only. The Location, Price and Free Parking were the main reasons for choosing the Zeus ,(and promise of an inclusive Breakfast)
The breakfast was the main dissapointment, and will book a room excluding breakfst if we ever passthrough Merida again
